Please join us for an interactive workshop exploring the connections between fermentation, microbes, food, and human health! Together, we’ll discuss the science and cultural history of fermentation while creating and tasting fermented foods as a community.
This workshop is designed for curious beginners, food and science lovers, and anyone interested in learning more about the invisible microbial worlds that shape both our environments and our bodies. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of fermentation, practical skills for home experimentation, and their own fermented creation to take home. Through conversation, hands-on learning, and shared food, this workshop invites us to think differently about health, ecology, and our relationships with the living world. Plus, you will receive information on how we can sequence YOUR microbiome at an accessible cost.
Cost for Workshop: $25 includes all workshop materials. Please REGISTER HERE! Workshop will begin promptly at 1pm in the Community Room at the Seward Co-op Friendship Store located at 317 E. 38th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55409
